Description

The wall and gate piers located before the northwest front of The Old Hall date from the 17th century. They are constructed from red English garden wall bond brick and feature stone coping. The structure includes two 20th-century raking buttresses and two stone piers that are square in section. These piers have moulded plinths and cyma caps, each topped with a ball, and are separated by a wide gap.
