Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17 with later additions and alterations. Square panels of timber-framing with arched braces with close-studding to rear ground floor, and painted brick infill on coursed stone plinth, plain-tile roofs and reddish-brown brick stacks. 3-unit, lobby-entrance plan with extension to right. EXTERIOR: single storey with attic, 3-window range. 3 entrances: plank doors in moulded wood door-frames. Corrugated-iron hoods over doorways. Renewed casement windows throughout, 3 gabled dormers to attic. Steeply-pitched gabled roof and large ridge stack. INTERIOR: believed to have extensive exposed timber-framing.
