Description

The west gate pier of Combe Abbey, located approximately a quarter of a mile south of the main building, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features rustication. The pier has a plinth and a panelled top that is adorned with festoons, flutes, and paterae.
