Description

Taynton House gate pier, located approximately 5 meters east of the main entrance, is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone ashlar and features a square design with chamfered rustication. The top is adorned with a cornice and a stone ball finial. This gate pier is one of a pair that flank the main carriage entrance to Taynton House.
