Description

No. 23 Taynton is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a stone stack on the right side. The building is two stories high and has a two-bay range. The central entrance has a plank door topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets. There are two-light casement windows on both the ground floor and the first floor to the right. To the left, there is a 19th-century lean-to addition that includes 20th-century casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
