Description

The southern gate pier, located about 30 meters west of The Old Rectory, is a structure that may date from the early 18th century but is likely from the mid 19th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features a classical cornice and plinth, with a scroll-top hinge-pilaster. The pier stands approximately 3 meters tall and is part of a pair, with the northern pier being referenced separately.
