Description
The walls, piers, railings, and gates to the north and west of Cotford are from the early 19th century, with an extension to the right from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick, featuring ashlar and cast iron elements. The low stone-coped walls have ramped ends that connect to octagonal piers, which are adorned with two tiers of round-headed paneling, cornices, and urn finials. The railings are designed in a hairpin form, and there are central paired gates topped with decorative finials. Additionally, a higher stone-coped wall on the right side of the front garden extends back towards Cotford, though it is not attached, and features short trefoil-headed railings.
