Description

Coventry Canal Bridge Number 70 is a canal bridge built between 1785 and 1790, designed by engineer Thomas Sheasby. It is constructed of brick with stone coping and features a segmental arch. The bridge has a parapet with stone-coped brick piers and rounded coping, along with numbered plates on its sides. This bridge is a complete example and is part of a series along the Coventry Canal.
