Description

Wall Grange Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse built of coursed and squared stone, topped with plain-tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high with attics and has an almost square shape, featuring five-window ranges on the front and four-window returns on the sides. It has a steeply pitched roof with a central well and two dormers on the side elevations. The central entrance leads to stone mullioned and transomed windows, with every alternate window on the first floor being blind on the front elevation. There is a plain string course above the ground floor windows and overhanging eaves with a moulded cornice. The farmhouse has axial stacks located in the center of the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
