Description
The gates and gate piers to Wetley Abbey, located approximately 30 meters west of the abbey, were built in the early 19th century. They feature stone and wrought iron square piers that stand about 2 meters high, topped with pyramidal cappings. The gates consist of three panels each, designed with trefoil heads and a quatrefoil frieze at the center, along with cresting in the middle. These structures are included for their group value.
