Description
The Hope and Anchor Public House is an 18th-century building that has been altered in the 20th century. It features painted rendered brickwork and a tiled roof with verge parapets topped with pitched stone copings, along with brick stacks at each end. The structure is two stories tall and has a three-window front with segmental head casements, which include 20th-century shutters. The original central entrance has been replaced with a casement window that has a pediment above its surround. At the rear, there is a wing that includes additional segmental head windows from the 18th century.
