Description
This barn, located approximately 15 meters north of Blackwood Hill Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century and was largely rebuilt in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a tiled roof with verge parapets. The barn includes a byre with a hay loft above. On the ground floor, there are four top-hung casements, two of which are situated in former door openings, along with a central boarded stable door. Additionally, there are two widely spaced hay loft doors above single-storey additions at both ends of the barn. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
