Description
This barn, located approximately 15 meters to the west of Richmoorhill Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone minor alterations in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone typical of the 17th century, topped with a tiled roof featuring chamfered eaves and verge parapets. The barn has a two-level plan, with a hayloft situated above cow sheds and a catslide outshut at the rear. The hayloft opening is positioned to the left of the yard front, above three doors, and there is a 19th-century casement window to the right of center. Richmoorhill Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
