Description
This is a dovecote and poultry house located approximately 10 yards west of South Perton Farmhouse, likely built around 1851. It is constructed of red brick and engineering brick, featuring a pyramidal tile roof topped with a cupola and a weather vane. The structure has lozenge-shaped perforated vents, a low door on the east side, and a chicken hatch at the southeast corner. Inside, a quarter of the ground floor is occupied by a vaulted chamber, which may have been used for a donkey.
