Description

Trinity Cottage is a 17th-century farmhouse, later altered and extended, situated on Jenny Walker’s Lane in Wrottesley. The building is timber-framed with brick infill, with sections rebuilt in brick. The roof is covered in clay tiles, featuring fishscale bands, and incorporates brick stacks. The house is arranged in a T-shape, with a lobby-entry design. It has two storeys with a window arrangement of 1:1:2. A gabled wing is located to the left, and a gabled extension extends to the left of the centre. Casement windows are present throughout. The main range features two small square brick panels between the first floor and eaves. The crosswing has close studding, a king post roof, and diagonal bracing. A 20th-century door is positioned to the right of the centre. A low 19th-century brick extension is attached to the right.
