Description
This barn, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 25 yards northeast of Crump Hillocks Farmhouse. It is constructed with a timber frame and has boarded sides, topped by a slate roof. The barn consists of three framed bays and is aligned in a northeast to southwest direction. It is a single storey building with central full-height barn walls.
Inside, the barn features exposed timber framing with two square panels up to the eaves, supported by straight braces, queen strut, and raking strut roof trusses.
