Description

No. 19 Church Road is a house dating from around 1700. It is built of red brick and has a plain tile roof with a brick off-ridge stack. The building has an L-shaped, lobby-entry plan, featuring a fully-floored two-bay hall and a two-bay crosswing. It has one storey and an attic, with a storey band and raised verge to the wing, as well as dentilled eaves on the hall range. The house has three windows, which are casements with segmental heads, and gabled attic dormers. The door is located in the centre of the hall range and is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped ceiling beams, timber framed partition walls, and an inglenook fireplace with a chamfered and stopped bresummer.
