Description
Victoria Cottage is a house built around 1830, constructed of brick with a hipped slate roof and brick stacks. It is designed in the Georgian style and has an L-plan layout. The building is two storeys high and features a symmetrical three-window range. A top modillioned brick cornice adds to its elegance. The round-headed entrance includes a fanlight above a four-panel door, and there is a wrought-iron trellis porch with a swept roof and scrolled crest. The windows have sills, with canted bay windows on the ground floor that feature cornices and plate glass sashes. The first-floor windows have rubbed brick flat arches above 12-pane sashes. There is a return lateral stack to the left and at the rear, and a single-storey wing with a stack.
