Description
Stowe House is a house built around 1810, constructed from stuccoed brick with a tile roof and brick end stacks. It features a gable facing the front to the left and has a central staircase plan in the Georgian style. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. It has wide boxed eaves and verges. The round-headed entrance includes a Tuscan porch, a fanlight with radial glazing bars, and a door with four fielded panels and two flush panels. The windows have sills and consist of 12-pane sashes. At the rear, there are two gabled wings, with the left wing being longer and lower, featuring a modillioned brick cornice and various windows, including a canted bay window with a 2:4:2-pane horned sash.
