Description
The Church of St Saviour, built in 1846, was designed by architect James Trubsham. A steeple was added in 1870 by J R Botham. This church is in the Gothic style and constructed of stone with a slate roof. It features a nave, chancel, and a north-west tower topped with a broach steeple. Notably, there is a fine east window created by C A Gibbs. The church is recognized for its contribution to the rural landscape.
