Description
The mausoleum at Aston Hall, built around 1767, serves as the burial place for the Simeon family. It features a stone-built central chamber with a moulded pediment and an impressive doorcase that has a moulded dog-eared architrave, keyblock, pulvinated frieze, and a segmental pediment. On either side of the central chamber, there are small, square, rusticated bays, each adorned with a moulded cornice and a niche on the return side.
