Description

This is an early 17th century rural cottage, with later additions. Originally a timber-framed and plaster building, the right-hand wing is painted black and white, with two storeys and an attic. It features an overhanging gable and a single 19th century three-light wooden casement window, with a tie beam decorated with quatrefoils. A later wing, constructed of plastered brick, is situated on the left-hand side, and has one storey plus an attic. This wing includes a casement window with a gable and a doorway with a small gabled porch. The cottage has brick stacks and is roofed with tiles. The interior retains exposed ceiling beams.
