Description
This milepost, located at the National Grid Reference SK 09982420, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "ABBOTS / BROMLEY". The left-hand face reads "ABBOTS / BROMLEY 1", while the right-hand face indicates "NEWBOROUGH 2½ / BURTON 10".
