Description
This is a milepost dating from the mid to late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "ABBOTS / BROMLEY". The left-hand face reads "ABBOTS / BROMLEY 2", while the right-hand face indicates "NEWBOROUGH I½ / BURTON 9".
