Description
The gateway and lodge to Hoar Cross Hall, built in the late 19th century, is possibly designed by Bodley and showcases Gothic architectural style. Constructed from brick with stone dressings and a tiled roof, it features a segmental arched carriage entrance topped with battlements, with a postern door to the right. On the left side, there is a single-storey section with a square bay window and a gable. The right side consists of two storeys, highlighted by a two-storeyed bay window. The ground floor includes mullion and transom windows, while the upper floor has mullion windows.
