Description
Hoar Cross Hall is a large mansion set back from the road in its grounds, built between 1862 and 1871 by architect Henry Clutton. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and is designed in the Jacobean style. The building has two storeys, featuring a stepped gable and large mullion and transom windows. The entrance front includes two square towers topped with ogee roofs, and there is a porte cochere to the right. Additionally, the chapel has late Gothic style decorations, designed by Bodley.
