Description

Milepost located at Newborough, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "NEWBOROUGH". The left-hand face reads "ABBOTS / BROMLEY 3", while the right-hand face states "NEWBOROUGH ½ / BURTON 8".
