Description

This milepost, located at National Grid Reference SK 14312517, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "NEWBOROUGH". The left-hand face reads "NEWBOROUGH ½ / ABBOTS / BROMLEY 4", while the right-hand face indicates "BURTON 7".
