Description
Coulters Hill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse with late 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. It features red brick that is rendered on the sides and has a tiled roof with verge parapets and end stacks, as well as dentilled eaves. The building is three stories high and has a three-window front. The windows are casements with gauged heads, wider on the outer lights and progressively shorter on the upper stories. The central entrance is approached by steps and originally had a door with an overlight, which has been replaced by 20th-century French casements, and there is a corbelled, pitched hood above it. There is an additional entrance on the right side. The farmhouse was built for the Duchy of Lancaster estate and includes outbuildings, which are not part of this listing, set in a courtyard.
