Description
This milepost, located on Lichfield Road in Abbots Bromley, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and is filled with concrete. The milepost has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is marked with "ABBOTS BROMLEY". The left side displays "ABBOTS / BROMLEY 1 / UTTOXETER 10", while the right side shows "HANDSACRE 5 / LICHFIELD 10".
