Description
The Big House, School of St Mary and St Anne, is a schoolmaster's house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped clay tile roof with a brick off-ridge stack. The building stands two stories high with an attic and has five bays, which are framed by corner pilaster strips. The windows are glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads, and there is a central half-glazed door with a rectangular overlight above it. Additionally, there are three hipped dormers on the roof.
