Description

This is a row of four houses, likely originating as a single dwelling in the 17th century, with alterations occurring in the early 19th century. The houses were originally timber-framed, but the exterior was later clad in red brick. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and brick stacks rise from the ridge. The houses are two storeys high and feature a gabled crosswing to the right. The main part of the building has four bays, while the crosswing has one. The windows are casements, though two modern bow windows have been inserted on the left side. Four doorways are present, three aligned with the chimneys of the main range. The interior of number 8 retains an inglenook fireplace and some exposed wall framing.
