Description
Rose House is a house and shop located on the north side of High Street in Abbots Bromley. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, featuring a brick ridge stack and an integral end stack. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall, with a facade that includes one bay on the left and three bays on the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes with plaster lintels.
To the left, there is a projecting wing that contains a recessed door and a large shop window, topped by a hipped roof projection. The right side features a half-glazed door set within a moulded wooden doorcase, which is sheltered by a flat hood.
The property is enclosed by a brick dwarf wall, with cast iron railings and a gate that surround a small front garden.
