Description
The building consists of stables and former cart-sheds, located approximately 10 yards east of Bentilee Park Farmhouse, and dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof, with three ranges that enclose three sides of a foldyard.
The north range contains lofted stables and is roughly three bays wide. It has stable doors on the left and center, and a loft door on the right, all featuring three-centred heads. There are casement windows on the ground floor to the right and left of the center, along with a loft window opening in the center.
The east range includes stables with a gable-lit loft on the left, slightly set-back low stables, and former cart-sheds on the right. The lofted stables have a three-centred arch stable door on the left, an inserted door on the right, and a blocked loft door with a three-centred arch in the center. There is a casement window in the ground floor center. The stables and cart-sheds feature a three-centred arch door on the left, flanked by three-centred arch window openings. To the right, there are two blocked cart-shed entrances with two inserted doors.
The south range has a three-centred arch door on the left, a casement window on the right, and a segmental arch window opening to the left of center.
