Description
The stables and cartshed, located approximately 10 yards west of Fieldhead Farmhouse, date from the mid to late 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a clay tile roof and have a U-shaped plan, with ranges to the north, south, and west that enclose three sides of a small courtyard. The building is one storey high, featuring a central west range flanked by the north range on the right and the south range on the left. The west range has segmental headed doors on both the left and right sides, along with a central segmental headed casement. The north range contains six segmental openings that alternate between wide and narrow. The south range includes a casement on the right, a door to the right of centre, and a cartshed opening on the left. This structure is included for its group value.
