Description
Fieldhead Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700, with later alterations and additions. It features a clay tile roof with coped verges on kneelers. The building has a baffle-entry plan, with a back door located to the west of the center, opening in front of the stack, while the front door is situated at the west end of the south front. There are two extensions to the west of the main house.
The main house is two storeys high with a gable-lit attic, a first-floor band, a toothed eaves course, and a brick ridge stack positioned to the west of the center. It comprises three bays with basket arch windows; the center window is blind, while the other two are mid-20th century casements. To the left, there is a six-panelled door.
The central extension is also two storeys, featuring a ground and first-floor casement window to the left, the former having a segmental head, and a blocked segmental-headed doorway to the right. The left-hand extension is single storey, with a frosted casement window to the left and a boarded door to the right.
