Description

This is a milepost dating from the mid-to-late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with the name "QUIXHILL." The left side indicates a distance of "ELLASTONE 1¼," while the right side shows "ROCESTER 1½."
