WROCKWARDINE, Former School and School Master's House (Formerly listed as Post Office and stores)
GV II Dated 1837. Former school and school master's house. The school is a plain red brick building with slate roof with moulded stone coping to gable ends and moulded stone eaves cornice; the original windows have been blocked and modern casements and shop front inserted. To right an ashlar gabled porch with moulded coping kneelers and finial, shield with date 1837 over four-centred arch window. Adjoining left (south) the school master's house, two storeys, gabled and L-shaped on plan, fishscale tile roof, stone window frames with two- and three-light diamond pane casements and gabled porch in the angle with Tudor arch. Brick chimney stacks with groups of three square shafts.
