Description
Cludde Almshouses, dated 1841, are a small range of almshouses built in yellow brick with stone dressings in a gothic style. The building features a fishscale tile roof with stone coped gable ends and kneelers. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The wide central projecting gable has a finial and kneelers, along with an inscription plaque above a pointed arch doorway that has a dripmould. This dripmould continues as a string course raised over the flanking ground floor windows, which each have three gothic lights and leaded panes. Above, in small gables with finials, are similar two-light windows. The building also has brick end chimneys with pairs of square shafts.
