Description
The Lilacs is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 16th or 17th century, faced in rendered brick and extended in the 18th century. It has recently undergone significant restoration. The cottage features a tiled roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with an attic. It has a six-window range, with modern metal frame casements that include glazing bars, along with three modern gabled dormers that have similar casements. There are brick ridge and end stacks, and a gabled wing at the rear. Inside, the cottage showcases exposed timber framing.
