Description
The School and School Master's House, dated 1853, is a yellow brick building designed in the Tudor style, featuring stone dressings. It has a fishscale tile roof with gabled ends that include moulded stone coping, kneelers, and finials, as well as corbelled eaves. The building is L-shaped in plan, comprising a one-storey and attic section alongside a one-storey range. It showcases large plain chamfered stone window frames and a Tudor arched doorway with a dripmould. A gabled dormer is present, and there is a corbelled chimney stack over the north-west gable, which displays a stone coat of arms dated 1853. The adjoining School Master's House, located to the north-east, is also one-storey and attic, featuring a two-window range with lozenge pane casements, small gables on the first floor, and a gabled central porch with a Tudor arch.
