Description

Audley Villa is a building dating from 1817, originally constructed as a grandstand on the site of a former racecourse. It was converted into a dwelling around 1900. The structure is made of stucco and has two storeys, featuring a slightly projecting central bay with one window and a total of five sash windows. There is a sill band, a plain frieze, and a moulded cornice at the first floor. The sides are adorned with plain pilasters that have moulded caps. The entrance includes a recessed moulded wood doorcase with plain pilasters, an entablature, a moulded cornice, and a part-glazed panelled door. The building has bold projecting eaves and a hipped slate roof.
