Description

Nos 4 and 6 Station Road are a pair of stuccoed villas built around 1840. They are two storeys high and feature a one-window projecting gabled bay on either side. The villas have casement windows with two panes in the centre and a balcony on the first floor, which is adorned with an elaborate cast iron balustrade and lattice framing below. On the ground storey, there is a splayed bay window on each side, and each return side has a plain pilaster doorcase with a plain semi-circular fanlight, keyblock, entablature, cornice, and a part-glazed panelled door. The eaves project on wooden brackets, and the roof is hipped, covered with slates and tiles.
