Description
Nos 160 and 162 Clewer Hill Road are a pair of two-storey villas built around 1840. They are constructed of stock brick and feature a hipped slate roof with flat eaves supported by paired brackets. Each villa has a central chimney and two windows on each floor, which are glazing bar sashes with marginal panes. The windows have panelled blind boxes with side scrolls. On the ground floor, there are marginal glazed French casements. Each villa has doors at either end made up of two vertical moulded panels, topped with flat gauged brick arches. Number 160 is distinguished by a square pilaster-pier porch with entablatures.
