Description

Nos 9 and 10 Waterloo Street are a range of 18th century painted brick cottages. They feature a plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. The cottages are one storey high with an attic and have a three-window range. There are three gabled dormers that have late 19th century chopped bargeboards and finials. The ground floor of No 9 has been extended in the 19th century with a lean-to roof, a recessed door, a sash window with shutters, and a canted bay window. No 10 has a modern casement window and a glazed door. The buildings also have brick end and central chimney stacks.
