Nos 1 and 2 on St Lukes Road are a pair of simple cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from red brick and stand two storeys high. Each cottage features three plain casement windows, with the lower windows having cambered heads. There is a small gable on the left-hand side of the building. The cottages have two plain doorways, each with ledged doors, and No 2 has a weather hood above its entrance. The roof is covered with old tiles.
