Description

This is a late 18th-century public house located on the south side of Wellington Walker Street. It is constructed of painted brick with a plain tile roof, featuring gabled ends and a moulded brick eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high with an attic. It has a two-window front. The windows are three-light Venetian sashes, complete with glazing bars. The centre light of the ground floor windows is round arched with intersecting glazing bars, while the centre light of the first floor windows is ogee arched. A central doorway is present with a moulded doorcase, panelled door and a pedimented hood supported on shaped brackets. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building.
