Description

Numbers 8, 10, and 12 on New Street are 18th-century buildings, with some earlier timber framing found inside No. 12. The exterior is made of painted brick, topped with a steeply pitched tiled roof that features a parapeted gable at one end and a hipped roof at the other. A moulded brick eaves cornice runs along the top. The buildings are three stories high and have a three-window arrangement, with three-light casements and sashes that are adorned with flat brick arches. The ground floor has large modern shop fronts.
