Description

Nos. 11 and 13 New Street is a 17th century building with a plastered timber frame. It features a tiled roof with gabled ends and oversailing eaves that have a modillioned soffit. The building is two storeys tall with an attic. On the first floor, there are two 19th century sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two large modern shop fronts. There is also one modern dormer and a roof light. At the rear, the building has twin timber-framed gables that are rendered. Inside, the first floor has stepped chamfer ceiling beams.
