Description
11, 11A and 15 Burton Street is an early 19th-century brick building, with No. 15 being painted. It features a plain tile roof with gabled ends and stands three storeys tall with four bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and rusticated lintels. The first-floor windows of No. 11 have been replaced with modern casements in their original openings. There are two early to mid-19th-century pilastered shop fronts with entablatures, and a round arched passageway is located at the center of the building. The overall plan form remains intact in No. 11 at the ground floor and basement levels, and the buildings form a cohesive group of joined address units with early 19th-century shop fronts that significantly enhance the character of the extended group along High Street and Burton Street.
